Managing Jewelry Types: A Step-by-Step Guide to Streamlining Your Inventory

Effective inventory management is critical for any business in the jewelry industry. Our app provides a user-friendly platform to manage different jewelry types across multiple stores, ensuring that your catalog is well-organized and easily accessible. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of adding and managing jewelry types, with a focus on business efficiency.

Step 1: Access the jewelry Type Management Section

Begin by navigating to the "Add Type" section of the dashboard. This area is specifically designed to help you categorize and organize the various types of jewelry you offer, making it easier to manage inventory across different stores.

Step 2: Enter Store and Jewelry Type Details

The first step in managing your jewelry types is to enter the relevant details:

  • Store: Select the store associated with the jewelry type. This feature is particularly useful if you manage multiple locations or an online store, ensuring that each jewelry type is properly categorized under the right store.
  • Jewelry Type Category: Tryon supports both 2D and 3D jewelry categories, which can be selected from this section. Once a category is selected the Jewelry Type Name filters name for it and vice versa.
  • Jewelry Type Name: Select the jewelry type from dropdown provided. This will help in selecting between different jewelry types, such as necklaces, earrings, mangtika and more in "Add Jewelleries" section. At a time, multiple jewelry types with same category can be submited.
  • Active: To enable the following jewelry type select the Active field.

Step 3: Submit the Jewelry Type

Once you've entered the necessary details, submit the form to add the new jewelry type to your inventory. The app will process the submission, and the jewelry type will be available for viewing and management in the "Add Jewelleries" section.

Step 4: Viewing Jewelry Types in Tabular Form

After adding a jewelry type, you can view all the entries in a structured table. This table provides an organized overview of all jewelry types in your inventory, making it easier to manage and update as needed. The table includes the following columns:

  • Name: The name of the jewelry type, as selected in the previous step.
  • Store: The store associated with the jewelry type, ensuring accurate categorization.
  • Type Category: Whether the added jewelry type is 2D/3D.
  • Active: Added jewelry type is enabled/disabled.
  • Created at: Time when the jewelry type was created.
  • Action: This column provides options to edit or delete a jewelry type. The edit function allows you to update details or correct any errors, while the delete function removes the entry from your inventory.

Step 5: Navigating the Table

The table is designed for ease of use, displaying 10 entries per page by default. To view additional jewelry types, simply navigate to the next page using the pagination controls at the bottom of the table. This feature ensures that you can manage even large inventories without overwhelming the interface.

Step 6: Utilizing the Search Function

For added convenience, the app includes a search function within the table. This allows you to quickly locate specific jewelry types by typing keywords into the search bar. Whether you're looking for a particular category or checking the details of a specific entry, the search function streamlines the process, saving you valuable time.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your jewelry types, ensuring that your inventory is organized and easy to navigate. The ability to categorize jewelry by store and type, view entries in a structured table, and utilize search and pagination features makes inventory management more efficient. This streamlined process not only helps in maintaining accurate records but also supports better decision-making and improved business operations. Start leveraging these features today to optimize your jewelry management workflow.
